With a tapestry needle, and right sides together, sew the side seam using a Flat, or Bickford seam.

Match up and weave through the outside loops and knots of the edge of your work. Do not pull your seam too tight. The seam tension should match the stretch of your knitted work. This creates a very flat smooth seam.

Check the Links page for a good website with instructions on how to make a Bickford seam.

These socks should be worn with the seams facing on the insides of the legs.
