Recently, I retired from teaching at Anderson University. Now I have more time to devote to my hobbies--genealogy research, writing, and knitting. I have been tyring to connect with more people involved in genealogy research, so I am pleased and excited to find this genealogy society in Madison County. Although my family is rooted outside of Indiana, my husband's family has been in Madison County since the mid-19th century, so I have enjoyed researching his family. Some of the names in his family include Noble, Butler, Hinds, Roach, Chalfant, Miller, and more. I especially enjoy visiting the cemeteries and finding their graves. I am active on findagrave.com, on Ancestry.com, and on Fold3.com. Also I'm very interested in Civil War research.
My husband and I have three adult children, two children-in-law, and two wonderful grandchildren who all live in Lancaster and York, Pennsylvania.
